A successful scan uses one credit. The snapshot covers Windows version, CPU, RAM, disk, startup signals, firewall and antivirus status, and a timestamp. No files, screenshots or remote-control channel.

Windows APIs vary by device. DGDigital distinguishes unavailable data from measured data and does not manufacture missing temperatures, SMART values or fault diagnoses.
Trust boundaries
It runs on the PC because browsers cannot inspect Windows deeply — constrained so the website cannot control the PC.
Read-only diagnostic scope
The website can request only the fixed DGDigital scan. It cannot send arbitrary PowerShell or command-line instructions to the connector.
No remote desktop
The connector is not remote-access software. There is no screen-control, keyboard, mouse, camera or microphone channel.
No personal file inspection
Documents, photos, email, passwords, browser history, keystrokes, screenshots and file contents are outside the diagnostic payload.
You open the program
Download the connector and open it yourself. If Windows shows a warning because it is not signed yet, choose More info then Run anyway. The website does not install it.
